Peace Palace
The Peace Palace is an international law administrative building in Den Haag (The Hague). Feel welcome to visit the Peace Palace Visitors Centre. This modern exhibition 
and impressive 35-40 minute film give you an introduction of history of the Peace Palace and to the juridical institutions of the Netherlands.
This is the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the Hague Academy of International Law and the Peace Palace Library.
It has many gifts from the participated countries of the Den Haag Convention. Among the gifts are: a fountain from Denmark, a jasper vase of 3200 kilograms from Russia, cast iron and copper doors from Belgium, marble from Italy, tapestries from Japan, the clock from the bell tower from Switzerland and wood from Indonesia and the United States of America. The fence that surrounds the entire palace is a gift from Germany. It also contains statues, busts and portraits of various champions of peace from all times.
