Please note: This E-ticket is exclusively valid on Dutch trains, for example those operated by NS (Nederlandse Spoorwegen). Make sure you plan your journey with an NS or Arriva train, for example, to be able to use the Train Child E-ticket.

Travel all day unlimited by train throughout the Netherlands for only €3 per child.
The Train Child E-ticket is valid for children on domestic trains, but not on international trains such as Eurostar and Nightjet.
Children can travel independently in 2nd class, while in 1st class, supervision by an adult aged 18 or older is required.
Each adult may take a maximum of three children, with each child requiring their own Train Child E-ticket.
The ticket is valid on the specified date until 04:00 AM the following day, allowing children to fully enjoy their journey.
The E-ticket is personal and non-transferable. This ticket is valid for children aged 4 to 11.
With this ticket, you do not need to check in or check out. Use the gates by scanning the QR code on the E-ticket.

Off-peak and Peak hours: Off-peak hours are on weekdays from 0:00 – 6:30, 9:00 – 16:00, and 18:30 – 0:00; all day on weekends and public holidays. Peak hours are on weekdays from 6:30 – 9:00 and 16:00 – 18:30.

Upon purchase, you will immediately receive an e-ticket. You scan this ticket at the gates to gain access.

Travel with domestic trains

The ticket is valid on all domestic trains, allowing children to discover different parts of the Netherlands. The Day Ticket is not valid on international trains such as Eurostar and Nightjet.
